Balthazar's Dream It is more based on a narrative than on the use of complex game mechanics. Here, users will tell a story about a dog named Baltazar. Her owner, a boy named Dustin, finds himself in a coma after he is knocked down by a cornfall. He is in critical condition, and the chances that he will wake up is extremely few. The dog, on the other hand, is sleeping next to him and sees amazing dreams filled with dog miracles. In one of the dreams, he sees the image in which Dustin recognizes, and begins to move after him. In parallel with this, everything plunges into darkness, the dog is sure that following the owner is the only option to pull it out of a coma.

Gameplay in Balthazar's Dream involves the use of simple mechanics. These are movements by locations in various variations, where a certain task is set before the gamer. Somewhere, it’s enough just to get to the final point of the path, and somewhere it is necessary to solve a number of puzzles to continue the path. As for locations, here you can visit forests, mountains, fly in heaven and even go into space. In total, 10 levels are represented here, the passage of which will take an average of 3 hours. Not even without battles with bosses. One of them will be a giant cat with two key abilities – the call of smaller individuals, as well as a scream capable of discarding Baltazar and knocking down the energy scale from anywhere in the map. In addition, players will be shown fragments of events before the accident and from the early childhood of the dog, when he grew up with his master.
