A Way To Be Dead is a multi-user project. Sessions here are designed for a maximum of 5 people. The indie title can be classified as a horror game with a first-person view and stealth elements. The video game offers asymmetric multiplayer. In it, several gamers control the victims, and one of the players plays the role of the killer. Those users who die at his hands become zombies. They do not drop out of the match, but rather go over to the side of the maniac. By controlling the living dead, these users put a spoke in the wheels of already former members of their team. However, if they wish, they can not betray their partners, but interfere with the antagonist. Victory here is rewarded with skill points for leveling up your characters.

A Way To Be Dead takes place on the grounds of an abandoned hospital. According to the brief plot, four people come to their senses in a gloomy hospital and try to escape from there. They are hunted by the mad Doctor, who conducts experiments in his creepy lair. He is armed with a pistol and an axe. A psychopath can mutate, turn off lights, set up ambushes and identify people by noise (objects touched by them make loud sounds). The patients themselves are not able to own weapons. But they can blind the pursuer with flashlights and pretend to be dead. To win, they need to get the key and escape from the building through the sewers. And the doctor’s task is to prevent his prisoners from getting out.
