Adabana Odd Tales – a visual novel about the wonderful land of Adabana. In this land, book stories come to life, embodied in reality, and they are hunted by bookworms. Monstrous creatures similar to catfish, woven from darkness. In order to protect literary plots, some people fight the monsters, returning the absorbed illustrations and lines. The main character wakes up in the forest of Adabana with amnesia – she does not even remember her name. She is quickly attacked by a worm, which is immediately destroyed by a boy with a brush. The savior calls himself Kurofude and tells the protagonist that they are both guardians of stories, and that the heroine is called Shirohime. Having united, they travel through the worlds of fairy tales and stories, saving the characters living there.

Adabana Odd Tales features a detailed depiction of Japanese folklore, which may provide additional pleasure to connoisseurs of the culture of the Land of the Rising Sun. For example, among the characters that Kurofude and Shirohime meet is Momotaro. A hero born from a giant peach who defeated terrible man-eating demons.
