Age of Chivalry It is a multiplayer action with a first -person view in the surroundings of the Middle Ages. The action takes place in a world where Govin Mason killed his cousin-king and captured the throne. As a result, the war began between the supporters of the usurper and those who remained faithful to the crown. Users are allowed to join any of the two fractions. Users can choose between 9 classes. There are archers, spearmen, sergeants, bodyguards, guards, crossbowmen, crusaders, ordinary and heavy knights.

The hero’s movements are controlled through the keyboard and mouse. In battles, the main emphasis is in close combat. In the brawls, you can apply a chopping (from above or side) and a stabbing blow, fend off enemy attacks or block them with a shield. In the arsenal, a place was found for daggers, halberdam, swords, axes and other blades. Each type of weapon has its own radius of defeat and unique characteristics. It is impossible to spam with attacks, since all attacks spend the endurance scale. The project uses the Source engine. Initially, it was a mod for the second part of Half-Life. Then Title Age of Chivalry became an independent product.

The battles are held on maps where there are several consistent goals. It is necessary to have time for half an hour. Most often, one team prevents the other to complete the task. Usually you need to kill specific inscriptions, build a bridge, protect or hold a point, take the gate storm, grab the lock, defend the citadel, and so on. During the fights, siege tools can be used, such as catapults and demands, or, for example, pour boilers with boiling oil on the heads of enemies. The outcome of the match affects what the next location will be.
