Age of Mythology: Extended Edition is a historical real-time strategy that immerses you in the atmosphere of the mythology of ancient Greece, Egypt and Scandinavia. The player will have to take one of the sides in the conflict and go to the battlefield, while simultaneously managing the economy and building his own base. Fortifications add protection, and summoned troops bring destruction to opponents.

The expanded edition adds new elements and updates some old developments. Plot-wise, Age of Mythology: Extended Edition consists of a main campaign divided into several missions. Consistently passing through each of the races, you will have to complete tasks at the levels, erecting buildings or participating in protracted battles with rivals. A large number of different units are available for battle, ranging from the weakest fighters to the elite guarding the most important objects.

The build includes the possibility of multiplayer play, allowing you to play against other users on the available battle maps. Some visual effects and game elements have been improved, a day/night cycle has been added, and the space lighting has been updated. When fighting between other players, new army types are available, such as cyclops or minotaurs, enhancing defensive and offensive characteristics. It is possible to call upon the power of the gods to help, destroying enemy cities with meteor showers or creating thunderclouds that overwhelm enemy people.
