Age of Wonders: Planetfall transports the user to a fictional Universe. For many centuries, the fate of many planets was controlled by the star union. However, now this powerful empire began to fall apart. And now the main character has the opportunity to make his people great and prosperous. To do this, you need to take part in grandiose turn-based battles. After defeating the opponents, it is necessary to decide how exactly the development of the new state will occur. Before you start the battle, you need to choose a faction on the side of which you will have to act.

There are 7 different factions in Age of Wonders: Planetfall:

• Association. They are also called Constructors. These are representatives of the aristocracy from the human race. They made their bet on cybernetic technologies;
• Amazons. They are descendants of colonists who managed to find an approach to genetic engineering. Representatives of this faction are women;
• Vanguard. These are people who returned home from a military expedition 2 hundred years after the end of hostilities;
• Kir'Ko. They belong to a race of intelligent insects. In the past, they were slaves of the star union, but managed to become independent;
• Dvar. They look like gnomes and speak with a Russian accent. The Dvars live on a planet where there are many mines, so they engage in mining;
• Shakarn. These are reptilians who are very fond of blackmailing their enemies;
• Syndicate. It is an association of various traders. They relied on secret operations and diplomacy.

You can play alone or with other users. After the gamer has chosen a faction, he begins to control its leader. The map is created by chance. Locations are used for exploration and extraction of necessary resources, construction of cities and their development. Battles with enemies are viewed from above. The user takes control of units and soldiers. During the passage, you can improve the parameters of units.
