Agharta: The Hollow Earth – an adventure game set in 1923. The main character is an experienced pilot who was sent in search of a missing scientist. Several months ago, he equipped a small expedition, with which he planned to get to a place of interest to him at the North Pole. The scientist believed that it was there that he would discover traces of an extraterrestrial civilization, to which most representatives of the scientific community reacted with skepticism.

Agharta: The Hollow Earth has simple controls – all actions are performed using the right mouse button. With it, the gamer indicates where to follow the character and what objects of the virtual world to interact with. The essence of the game mechanics is that the pilot must pick up objects and use them in special places to start the mechanism and open the way further. Also, some items contain storyline hints that indicate how to proceed next.

The virtual world first consists of snow-capped mountains and plains. Then it abruptly gives way to underground levels, in which the hero discovers traces of human settlement and the presence of a once alien life form here. As the story progresses, it becomes known that the aliens were already on Earth and even helped people build civilizations, one of which previously existed under the ice of the North Pole. Clues say that the scientist has also found a way to this mysterious place, and therefore the character has no choice but to follow him.
