AIKAGI is a kinetic visual novel in which there are no choices or branches. In fact, this is a well-illustrated interactive novel, where the player may remain indifferent, but is completely immersed in what is happening. This game is entirely focused on romance and the relationship between two heroes who are just getting to know each other in all aspects.

During his last student winter, Nozumu's parents inform him that it is time for the guy to move away from them and go on a free voyage. This decision is shocking for him, because he is completely unprepared, besides, his culinary abilities are still at a complete zero, and ordering a diet for himself seems expensive and does not guarantee normal nutrition. Also, he still hasn’t found a city where he could feel comfortable. After sharing his experiences with his childhood friend Shiori, he receives a sudden offer from her to move in with her. The girl had been living separately for a long time and her family had hinted to her that an old friend would be a good candidate for cohabitation.

In Aikage, two friends who have seemed to know each other for ages gradually begin to reveal different sides of their personalities. The girl, it turns out, has already grown up and has become very caring, sweet and mature. Despite the fact that it seems to the guy that he will never learn anything this way, the plan turned out to be quite effective and, moreover, brought him together with the love of his life.
