This can be done either by choosing a random battle, or by independently creating the conditions for the battle. In this case, the player will be given a huge clearing where he can place all the available objects (sand fortifications, barricades, barracks, observation towers, etc.), as well as independently form a formation. The soldiers, by the way, look like square-headed men, but this does not have a negative impact on the gameplay.

Naturally, weapons and uniforms in Ancient Warfare 3 will change depending on the selected time period, and armor with shields will be replaced by body armor with helmets. Swords and spears will cut enemies into pieces, and shell hits will leave nothing behind both units and fortifications. However, you shouldn’t expect cinematic animations – the blood of the fighters is shown as a set of pixels flying in different directions. At the same time, players have the opportunity to take control of an individual unit, or observe everything from the side, switching camera angles.
