Plot Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures begins with the main character and his friends starting to play on the console, but suddenly the monitor began to suck in all the participants. Nerd suffered the same fate: a mechanical hand forcibly took him into a parallel universe. The central character received a light gun. He has to go through 9 levels, and 8 of them are visited at any time. As soon as eight locations are completed, access to the ninth and final area will open.

Nerd's task is to get there and help his friends, and then escape from the virtual world. Missions, enemies, obstacles and locations are inspired by games such as: Doom, Mega Man, Legend of Zelda and others. The user gets access to control over 4 characters. Nerd is available from the start of the walkthrough. Once you reach the guy with the guitar, you can control him. Mike Matei and Bullshit Man are stronger fighters. Each hero has his own abilities and type of overcoming obstacles.

The gameplay of AVGN Adventures is presented in the platformer genre. The gamer moves through a two-dimensional territory, fights with opponents and avoids deadly obstacles. A special feature of the process is difficulty. At the easy difficulty level, many beginners have problems. The enemies are strong, for each of them you will need to find original battle tactics. At the last difficulty level, you must start from the beginning if the hero dies. On normal difficulty, the ward receives 3 health points, 30 lives and an infinite number of continues.
