Anno 2205 – a city planning simulator with economic and strategic elements. The player's actions, events and the lives of the townspeople take place in real time. The event takes place in the future, 2205, when humanity has achieved multiple technological developments. The user is able to establish his own colony on the Moon.

As the director of a large company, the gamer will have to design new cities and establish chains of extraction and processing of resources. “Anno 2205” is the sixth part in the series and has many innovations compared to previous projects. Previously, maps were created procedurally; the same system is present here, but the user has access to the territory editor. Various tools will help in setting up the terrain, such as adding lowlands and hills, installing trees, forests, rivers, lakes, climate, mountains and much more.

The maximum area of ​​the city has been increased 5 times. Before starting construction, you will need to choose 1 session out of three: lunar, arctic and moderate. Each of them will provide certain difficulties. A multi-session process allows interaction between settlements. In the Arctic, workers can extract resources and deliver them to the Earth’s satellite or to temperate areas. Helium-3 is only in the Arctic session and is helping to make breakthroughs in thermonuclear physics and missions to the Moon.

Regions and their features:

• The temperate zone is the main source of income, as well as the main point of creating an organization. This is where most of the townspeople live their lives, new projects are created and food is obtained.
• The Arctic is a difficult environment with resources not found in the temperate region. You can get fish and deep-sea corals, as well as many components and elements for space flights.
• Lunar terrain – becomes available after reaching level three cosmodromes. Building is only allowed in craters. Shield generators will help defend structures due to the abundance of meteorites.
