Arcadia Fallen is a visual novel in which there are no bad or good endings. Each of them is logical in its own way, even if it leads to the death of the main character. Starting an affair with someone from your group or getting into the secrets of the academy that should not have been revealed to yourself and the public is up to the user to decide. So he must carefully weigh each of his choices.

The main character (whose gender depends on the user's choice) is a young student at the school of alchemy. He desires to become a true master of this art of science and magic and therefore diligently attends classes. But unwillingly, the protagonist finds himself drawn into a war between people and alchemists. Stay on the neutral side or try to save the world? A difficult choice, especially when there are so many beautiful classmates with different opinions.

The main characters of Arcadia Fallen:

• Anna is a magician scientist who knows a lot and is ready to share her wisdom, a calm and reasonable girl who largely devotes all her free time to science
• Victoria is an imperial knight, proud, at times it seems that she looks down on people because of her status and position in society, she is often considered a local bully
• Michael is a wild magician, he considers magic a natural gift that does not need to be curbed, it is enough to go with the flow and let it take control, chaotically uses all familiar spells and relies on nature
• Kaidan – did not come from this world, which is why he differs not only in the level of his powers, but also in his appearance with luminous veins

You can have a relationship with each of the characters, including LGBTQ+ ones. The protagonist himself may also be of indeterminate gender with an appropriate pronoun, or transgender. There is complete freedom in choosing a partner or further path, because you can remain a friend to everyone and not be interested in romantic relationships, focusing on your studies and alchemical heights.
