ARMORED CORE 6 FIRES OF RUBICON takes place on the remote planet Rubicon 3, where a mysterious new substance has been discovered that could revolutionize humanity's technological and communications capabilities.

However, this substance caused a catastrophe, as a result of which the planet and its surrounding stars were engulfed in flames and storms, forming the Burning Star system. Half a century later, it surfaced on Rubicon 3, which is now an infected and closed world. Various extraterrestrial corporations and resistance groups are fighting for control of the substance, and the gamer infiltrates Rubicon as an independent mercenary.

The user can create their own mech from a wide range of parts and weapons and use it to move freely through locations that redefine 3D mobility. The project features dynamic, omnidirectional battles in which the user will have to take full advantage of the maneuverability and firepower of his sword both on the ground and in the air. There are also powerful enemy bosses, requiring the use of various attack and defense tactics at close and long distances.
