IN Army Men: Combat Alarm Players will have to act as a sergeant – a rude, hardened in the battles of a soldier who commands a detachment in the Green Army. The opposing side here is the tank army. The storyline begins with the fact that both parties work on a peace agreement, but the group of the Armed Forces does not want to put up with a similar state of things. Of course, this small sect immediately turns into a much greater threat, and therefore players have to crush the apostates.

In Army Men: Sarge's War, the automatic aiming function can catch the nearest target, but this does not help very much, with the exception of cases of using weapons with a wide scatter of fire, such as a shotgun, or with a narrow sight, like a sniper rifle. There is also completely absence of any useful shelter mechanics. Players can bend down, but if they are not behind a particularly strong object, this will not bring any benefit, since they will not even be able to shoot.

Each mission is the same, and only sometimes a couple of non -standard goals appear. Gamers need to choose a placed shirt bomb and drop it on one of the large artillery guns of enemy troops or on a fence blocking the way. In the interval between the discovery of the bomb and its installation, you need to conduct shootings with each enemy in its path. Sometimes you can use a turret and you will have to reflect several more complex enemies (for example, some elite soldiers who may become invisible). After about 4-5 hours, you can finish the entire single-user campaign. The multiplayer game includes 3 modes to choose from – a deadly match, team promotion and capture of the flag.
