The setting chosen here is a fantasy world, in which the conflict between two warring factions has been going on for quite some time. The Fallen and his followers intend to establish their order in these lands, and the user is obliged to stop him. To do this, he needs to form his own squad and go into battle.

Ascension: Deckbuilding Game, like other card games, operates on a turn system. Each side has a little time to think, after which they need to take their action and pass the move to their opponent. You can use cards taking into account two indicators – mana and attack. When the user reaches the required amount of mana, the cards available to him are highlighted in green. Attack points are used to kill monsters (such as the Sea Tyrant or Avatar of the Fallen), while other objects on the table give access to characters. All heroes that are part of the squad have their own distinctive properties and bonuses received in battles. For example, one of the soldiers allows you to reduce chakra consumption in all subsequent uses of his card. But it is important to take into account that decks are formed randomly and what was available in the first session is unlikely to be available in the next game. In addition, each opponent uses different strategies, so the user must be flexible in order to defeat difficult opponents.
