Assetto Corsa Competizione focuses on one type of competition, namely the 2018 and 2019 Blancpain GT Series. There is nothing here except competitive races, in which you can take part either alone or with other users. The main emphasis here is on the realism of what is happening on the track, and there is no trace left of the arcadeism inherent in some similar projects.

In Assetto Corsa Competizione, both a career mode and a free race are available, where you can independently set the initial parameters, select a track and a car. For example, you can choose a race lasting one hour or try your hand at a race for a day. Before starting the competition, the system will offer to complete a training session, which will show the basic mechanics and principles of driving a vehicle. As mentioned earlier, the realism factor is key here, so to achieve acceptable handling, you will have to try. For example, there is no automatic speed reduction when entering a turn, so you will have to control this aspect yourself so as not to fly off the road. During the race, you can switch the camera, setting both the view from the cabin and from above the car. At the same time, all interface details such as the table of participants, speed, pace and fuel level will remain in the same places. If the player wants to complete the race at another time, he can save it in the system without losing progress, and the competition will continue in the same place where it was stopped earlier.
