Aurora – Cores Ocultas belongs to the JRPG genre. It uses 2D pixel graphics in an anime style. The camera is located at the top and at an angle. In the game you can explore locations, chat with NPCs (there is a choice of lines in dialogues), fight monsters, and level up. Opponents are displayed on the map. Upon contact with them, a skirmish begins. The battles here are turn-based. Team members and enemies take turns. During fights, you can cast spells, use things, and carry out various attacks.

The game has the opportunity to collect collectibles, solve puzzles, participate in tournaments and pass challenges. Also available is resource extraction, item crafting, fishing, cooking and farm maintenance. This project is also known as Aurora – Hidden Colors. Its action takes place in Russia. Superhero girl Gabriela strives to protect her family and find her cousin. She also tries to stop Igor. The antagonist wants to destroy the Birch Village on the West Siberian Plain and dreams of making people his soulless slaves. The heroine is helped by Mikhail and Woof.

There are 4 modes available in this indie game:

• Story – a narrative divided into 5 chapters, after which end-game content opens;
• Adventure – the player generates characters from scratch, levels up, completes quests, gets pets;
• Battle Mode – battles with regular opponents and bosses (there are 72 fighters) to receive special rewards;
• Raid – 2-4 users fight with alternative versions of the leaders under the control of AI or another user.
