Events Avadon 2: The Corruption take place after the events of the first part. The pact was destabilized, the alliance of 5 countries was destroyed and the world plunged into the darkness of bloody wars. A new France, Farland, has entered the game. The main character is a spy from one of the states that are part of the Pact. His task is to track enemy raids together with the senior scout. During one of these reconnaissance missions, a real horror invades the country, coming from hell itself. The character's homeland is now raided with enviable regularity by barbarians, titans, monsters and pirates. Avadon's power has faded, but people need it more than ever.

Avadon 2: The Corruption introduces new capabilities for combat, including capturing fortresses. To capture impregnable castles, turrets will help, as well as other devices that can help the allies in the fight for world peace. The rest of the gameplay is based on turn-based battles, as well as a deep inventory system that allows you to optimize character upgrades through crafting and using various loot. Bonus quests, which are often found on the map of the huge game world, help diversify the gameplay. At the same time, as in the previous part, the plot of the game remains non-linear, and the end of the story depends entirely on the actions of the protagonist during missions.
