Bakemono – Demon Brigade Tenmen Unit 01 gives players the opportunity to pilot an anime-style humanoid robot. This is a mech control simulator and part-time shooter with a first-person view. The project was created specifically for owners of VR devices. Using motion controllers, players control the protagonist, who controls a combat unit. Here you can walk, fly, dash, run along walls, and soar. Weapons include pistols (can be fired with two hands), rocket launchers and other guns. In close combat, you can fight with a giant laser sword and cover yourself with an energy shield. This title was inspired by mecha anime. It takes place in the distant future during the New Solar Era. There is a plot connection. The Martian Federation united with the outcasts and raiders, and then, breaking the treaty, went to war with the Earth Royal Empire. In response, the earthlings activated the Bakemono Initiative program, thereby launching 7 powerful robots. You will play as the pilot of one of these cars.

Fights in Bakemono take place in space and on planets. During fights, you can parry enemy attacks with a shield. Enemies are represented by starships, tanks, mechs and other equipment. Among them there are bosses. The video game is divided into missions. There are sea, city, air and weightless locations. Among them there are open maps that allow you to get to the goal of the task in different ways. The release contains an improved version. In it, the developers redid the training, changed the calibration system and redrew the menu. The creators also added new enemy pilots and additional levels. Some old maps have been updated. The project is designed for single playthrough only. It has an arcade mode and the ability to select levels separately.
