Ballad of an Evening Butterfly – is an atmospheric visual novel with a typical narrative for this genre, which is conducted using pictures and text. After talking with his new acquaintance, the guy ends up in the basement of this building, where, to his amazement, there is a cute girl. The hero of Ballad of an Evening Butterfly will now have to entertain his girlfriend in every possible way, whose name, as it turns out, is Chio Sky. It will depend on the character how to spend time with the girl, what topics to talk about with her, and how to respond to her actions and questions. The ending of this story will ultimately depend on this.

During their acquaintance, Tera learns that an otherworldly evil spirit has possessed Chio. And now the hero's task is to find a way to get rid of it, giving the girl freedom. To do this, you will have to explore every corner of the large house in search of clues and evidence, as well as talk to the possessed one in order to try to find out the reasons for the trouble that happened in her speech. New friends will gradually become sympathetic to each other, but the sinister entity will hinder their union.
