Battlefield 1942 is a complex multiplayer game set in World War II. The main emphasis in gameplay mechanics is on the network mode, allowing you to actively fight and participate in combat operations together with other users. There is a single plot, executed in the form of a campaign for several missions and allowing you to fight against artificial intelligence, choosing and customizing the complexity of the process. While completing story missions, the player learns the basics of control and shooting.

When you head into Battlefield 1942's co-op arena, you'll take part in a variety of team battles. The emphasis is on interaction and coordinated work between fighters in order to achieve normal combat effectiveness. Thus, each gamer selects a character, defining a class and functioning role on the battlefield, to provide support in their specialization and create a balanced party. There is a large arsenal of weapons and auxiliary equipment available to choose from, allowing you to spend longer and more useful time in combat locations, exploring and destroying attacking enemies.

Available types of missions you can go on:

• Storm. In this case, one team carries out an offensive operation, while the other holds the defense and shoots the enemy.
• Collision. Each group receives a headquarters, from where it is necessary to capture and hold as many territories as possible.
• Capture the Flag. The main task is to steal a banner from an enemy base and deliver it to yours, receiving victory points for this.
• Team match. Players have to kill as many opponents as possible.
