Bayonetta – a fantasy action game whose main character is a witch named Bayonetta. After spending 500 years in the tomb, she was finally released. As the game progresses, the user will have to learn details about Bayonetta's past, fighting dangerous monsters and extracting information from other characters. A noticeable emphasis is placed on the combat component: the player has at his disposal several types of firearms and bladed weapons (pistols, shotguns, swords, etc.). Each weapon has several types of combo attacks, as well as animations for finishing off opponents.

In addition, the player can use special objects in locations to deal with enemies (for example, there is a guillotine that allows you to behead enemies). Bayonetta is divided into chapters, which are subdivided into parts. You can upgrade Bayonetta's abilities to enhance your own attacks, increase your health, or deal damage and weaken your opponents. For example, there is a skill that slows down enemies if they dodge. There is also the ability to transform into any animal in order to temporarily become stronger.

Bosses in the game sometimes reach colossal sizes, which makes them seem more dangerous and invincible. Depending on how much damage was received and treatment used, the number of points awarded after completing a certain chapter changes. There is a system of achievements that you can try to open. The difficulty of passing can be chosen from 5 levels. In addition to the main missions, there are mini-games available during breaks between story missions.
