Beavis and Butt-head go to college is an adventure game based on the animated series. The plot is practically no different from the film adaptation, and the user will need to solve puzzles with his own hands in the gameplay and learn about the history of the main characters. The plot begins with a level where Mr. Van Driessen takes his class to a college on an excursion so that they get acquainted with educational institutions of this type and in the future they can choose their place.

In college, students need to experience what campus life is like. Each excursion participant receives a walk-through sheet indicating the places and rooms to be visited. Students will visit the biology classroom, farm, stadium, music room, dorm, library and art room. In each location visited in Beavis and Butt-Head Do U, gamers will need to complete certain tasks, solve puzzles, or find lost items.

However, few students will adhere to the management's plan. They think more about having fun, so most tasks will involve destruction, humor, and interacting with strangers. The main task is to fill out the worksheet and also get to a cool student party. This will require getting to know local students and winning their favor.
