In Behind Glass: Aquarium Simulator, the gamer has a wide range of tools to create an authentic ecological space, where everything depends on both internal and external indicators. Soil is selected that is suitable for the development and growth of plants. The lighting is also adjusted so that they feel normal and receive enough light for photosynthesis. Then the fish are placed in the vessel. The title has the ability to launch both fresh artificial reservoirs and salty ones.

For the desired effect, the bottom layer is populated with mollusks, crabs and other crustaceans. In total there are just under a hundred species of animals. The special function of genetic experiments allows the creation of hybrid forms and the interaction of genes of completely different fins. The player easily shares his work with members of the gaming community. For individual design, decorative items are placed in the aquarium – broken vases and mugs, corals, castles and jugs.
