Beneath the Mountain is a game in which the player has to focus on building an entire kingdom. It’s quite calm and monotonous in places, so it’s perfect for the evening when you have nothing to do or want to not really strain yourself and delve into the plot. You can abandon it at any time, and then return without losing the basic skills and quickly remembering what’s what.

The main character is the leader of a gnome settlement. These small creatures are distinguished by enormous physical strength and specialize in the extraction of useful ores and metals by hand using pickaxes and other devices. Thanks to their hard work, they received great respect from other kingdoms and good income through trade. Then the protagonist decided that it was time for them to expand and build an entire dwarven kingdom, where all representatives of their species could flock and feel safe. Gradually they decided to move up the mountain, because there in the deposits of stones you can find a lot of precious things, which is not of particular importance for workers, but for traders it is quite important.

In Beneath the Mountain, the player's main enemy is orcs, who attack and destroy settlements. They are crazy, stupid, but huge and strong, which makes them very dangerous. But at the same time, you can try to get rid of them by moving high enough, because they are clumsy and don’t have enough intelligence to build. But the danger remains, only from the inhabitants of the caves.
