Event BioShock takes place in an alternate world in 1960. The central character accidentally ends up in the underwater city of Rapture due to a plane crash, in which he miraculously managed to survive. The plane crashed in the middle of the ocean, and the debris made it possible to stay afloat and then see strange objects under water. This city was created by a successful and wealthy man, Andrew Ryan, who wanted to design an ideal society.

The philosophy and strange policies of President Rapture have created a harsh dictatorship with worse living conditions. A civil war broke out, and utopia fell into darkness. The player controls Jack, who finds himself inside a futuristic place on the provided submersible. The user sets off to explore an abandoned and dilapidated environment, often encountering enemies. Hostile mutants come in many varieties with their own characteristics.

BioShock's story is advanced through videos and found footage. Sometimes you can learn about the plot through dialogue between enemy characters.
