Multiplayer puzzle Biped puts gamers in a chain of two robots who must find and repair a series of beacons connected to Earth. To do this and prevent the world from falling into darkness, players and their friends will need to complete a series of stages, each with their own themes, mechanics and objectives, in order to succeed in a seemingly simple mission to find disabled beacons. When entering into battle, the heroes will find various locations: forests, savannahs and icy mountains. Moreover, these are just some of the many stages filled with numerous characters.

In Biped, players must navigate the world by manipulating their character's legs. The controller's left and right sticks or mouse buttons are mapped to similar mechanical limbs and offer a flexible range of motion for both Aku and the Force. In both cases, the control scheme is simple enough to understand, but still requires some finesse to determine the right skill. The introductory guide does a good job of introducing these concepts and teaching players how to put one foot in front of the other or simply spin on one.

Single-player encounters in this platform puzzler are a delightful experience that sees robots being pushed along ledges and chasms with a variety of linear tasks to complete. Moving blocks and a series of simple environmental puzzles give way to a whole new game when a second participant joins. The objectives are divided into two parts, and the environmental puzzles work in a completely new way. Adding a gamer adds a layer of complexity. Players must activate objects to allow their partner to overcome obstacles, step on colored tiles without falling over the chasm, and try to do it all in time.
