Blasphemous is a tough and dark fantasy in which the user has to chop his enemies like cabbage. A person here is structured almost the same as in the world familiar to the player. Some heroes are ready to help for free, while others will lend a hand only for a decent payment in gold. There is deception and betrayal at every step, but if you don’t trust anyone at all, then you can miss a lot of opportunities.

The world of Cvstodia was struck by a terrible curse, which, despite its destructive power, was called a Miracle by religious gatherings. People began to turn into mad monsters, but some of them managed to maintain their form and sanity. From the first survivors, a peculiar caste of saints was created, which now patronizes the world, and all other parishioners were called Penitents. The protagonist is one of these. He travels the world, freeing the population from the influence of monsters, and regularly attends church. Over time, it begins to seem to him that the people in power are not at all who they say they are, and decides to launch a secret independent investigation.

The player Blasphemous will plunge into a dark and dirty story. Bloody and cruel rituals, unjustified by anything other than humanity’s wild desire to harm itself, terrible experiments and monsters. All this is hidden somewhere behind the doors of those places that people have always considered holy and pure. But everything that people touch sooner or later becomes defamed.
