Modification Blitzkrieg GZM brings numerous innovations and changes to the gameplay. The project is based on a real-time strategy combined with tactical combat elements. The events unfold during the Second World War, and the player will have to take control of one of the sides and manage numerous units, trying to get closer to victory or win battles.

The gameplay covers the events that took place from 1914 to 1970. The campaign includes 6+ scenarios where the user can take control of Japan, Italy, Finland, Hungary, Germany, the USSR or the Allies. The scenario for each country provides different missions, famous military clashes and units to control. The gamer will take part in battles on more than 345 maps created on the basis of real battles. The territories are presented in a procedurally generated manner.

The user will control dozens of types of military equipment. These are different types of tanks, armored vehicles, aircraft, howitzers, MLRS, artillery and much more. There are over 5,000 types of units, each of which has its own characteristics, weapons, abilities and role in combat. The manpower consists of 1,800+ soldiers, such as civilian fighters, horsemen, stormtroopers, snipers, engineers, medics and many others.
