Book of the Dead: Lost Souls – an anime game in the genre of visual novel and with Japanese style. The story is filled with interactive moments where you will need to solve puzzles, interact with surrounding objects and decide the main character's further actions. The gameplay is complemented by numerous illustrated moments and events, where the characters' emotions and actions are displayed with minimal sprites.

The plot of Necronomicon begins in 1920 in the USA, where a young man with a difficult past learns that his uncle Abner died and left an estate near Dunwich as his own inheritance. Together with his wife Emily, Charles had to go to the dark territory. The will will come into force only in a month, and the main character will have to live this time in a mysterious and strange place. Here he will encounter otherworldly forces and unusual phenomena.

The gamer will have to explore a gloomy mansion and interact with various objects. Gradually, the central character encounters ancient artifacts and notes from former owners, which describe their experiments and actions related to interaction with the souls of deceased people. The user can move between five main rooms, visit two locations of the city and visit 10+ other areas.
