Boot Hill Heroes is a retro project that refers to old role-playing games. It combines classic techniques with modern gameplay elements. The plot takes place in the Wild West, where a group of heroes were able to defeat the most brutal gang of criminals in the area. But 10 years have passed since then – the heroes grew old and settled down, while the bandits began to accumulate strength to return. To stop them, the user will have to lead a new generation of crime fighters. There are 4 characters on the team at the same time – the gamer can command the squad alone or by calling on friends for help. In local multiplayer, it is possible to play in teams of 4 people.

In Boot Hill Heroes, battles take place not in turn-based mode, but in real time. Gamers do not have the ability to pause the battle, remove an item from their inventory, or give it to an ally. The only way to minimize damage taken is to take a defensive stance. It should also be noted that powerful attacks require time to recharge. This encourages users to think carefully about their strategy. If the group loses, they will not die, but will be weakened, receiving injuries that can only be cured by going to the doctor. In addition to the main tasks, gamers can complete additional missions and mini-games, receiving achievements for this and improving the characters’ skills.
