BorderZone – a fantasy adventure that takes place in the fictional world of Terra, so called by its inhabitants. Despite the time frame of the storyline (about 9 thousand years after the birth of Christ), the setting is the Middle Ages, in which there is magic and creatures that do not exist in reality, as well as races. The gameplay consists of action and dialogues between the main character and NPCs who issue quests, trade, repair armor, weapons, and live their lives. People within the kingdoms are divided into different castes and factions, helping one of them, the player will spoil relations with others.

The starting area for a long adventure that will take much more than a few tens of hours is the province of Kamira called Taria. According to the local calendar, the year is 3285, and it is at this time that Olaf faces a difficult test related to the safety of the entire planet. The protagonist lives in the Northern Fort – the extreme point of Kamir, acting as a border point for those entering and leaving. The twenty-year-old boy will learn a lot during the journey; the gamer will have to upgrade him throughout the game. The world is completely open, all available tasks can be completed in any order, choosing your path in a given situation.
