Bright Lights of Svetlov – a quest game with a first-person view. The surrounding world is recreated based on a provincial city in the Soviet Union in the mid-80s. The story revolves around an ordinary family facing serious problems and challenges that will need to be overcome in order not to make the situation worse. Realistically recreated life helps to feel the atmosphere of that time.

The main character lives in a standard area of ​​his town, where panel houses are installed, and he goes to monotonous work and does a boring household routine. The user will be in his role and find out what difficulties an ordinary person of that time faced. Gradually, the number of difficulties increases, and the possibilities for solving them become fewer. Because of this, it is necessary to find unconventional ways to find a better life.

The gameplay lasts about an hour and a half of real time, offering a short first-person journey. The passage is focused on the plot structure with the sequential completion of classic tasks. As you progress, the gamer learns more information about the family and receives information about what is happening in the country, at work, or from friends. The user will need to carry out simple tasks displayed on the interface in order to advance through the plot.
