BROK the Investigator is an adventure game focused on a detective mission. The action takes place in the futuristic world of “light cyberpunk”. Anthropomorphic animals have replaced ordinary people. The upper class of society will have to live under a dome that protects them from environmental pollution. The rest of the citizens live outside it, in dusty and polluted nature.

The story is about Brock, a 35-year-old private detective. He is an anthropomorphic alligator who previously competed in the World Boxing Championship. However, life led him to a new job as a detective. The main character lives with his 16-year-old son, whose mother died more than five years ago. The project combines the genres of “point and click” and “beat-em-up”. Observation of the character occurs using side scrolling. At the start of the playthrough, control is only available over Brock, and after that the opportunity to control Graff opens up as soon as he joins the central character.

The gameplay is divided into two modes: adventure and action. The gamer needs to move around the game locations, communicate with minor characters and explore the environment. Items are combined with each other or used for their intended purpose. In conversations or while exploring the area, the user receives hints and clues that help advance the plot. Brock faces a variety of puzzles, and his thinking skills and wit help him gain more important information through dialogue.
