IN Broken Thorns: West Gate the player will take control of a stranger who arrived from a cursed world, trying to find peace and tranquility for himself. While exploring new lands, the main character will face dark forces trying to kill him, taking advantage of his fears, weaknesses and doubts. He must fight mystical spirits and monsters while trying not to succumb to his own weaknesses.

Vestgetia was once a beautiful place, but now demons, evil spirits and ghosts roam everywhere, attacking everyone who is not like them. Traveling across a dying continent, the central character must fight against his own sins, doubts and fears. The passage is based on numerous choices that determine the further plot and possibilities. In a given situation, the user can use different actions. The Evil Liar has seized power over Westgetia, and the main character can help him or turn against him.

Environments, enemies, objects and other aspects of the graphics are drawn in the style of colored pens. People and neutral minor characters are represented as stickmen. During the passage, the player will have more than 50 situations where he can take certain actions to solve the difficulty. They will determine the future history and the unblocked roads. The world is open to exploration and includes additional quests to complete with rewards.
