BUSTAFELLOWS is a visual novel in the otome genre. Traditionally for the genre, the title has two-dimensional graphics with anime style. The project is designed primarily for a female audience. In it, while controlling a girl, you can have affairs with guys. There are a total of 5 characters available in the game to create love relationships. There is partial nonlinearity. Players are allowed to choose their lines and actions at certain points. The decisions made open access to some story branches and block others. The plot has several endings. There are also alternative options for the development of history. You will need to play through the video game multiple times to see all the content.

In BUSTAFELLOWS the narrative is presented in a series format. Each episode has opening credits and a summary of the previous episodes. And the plot itself is as follows. A young journalist named Teuta witnesses the murder of a bribe-taking lawyer. A woman discovers an unusual ability in herself. She can briefly go back in time and randomly inhabit the bodies of people she doesn't know. The lady then returns to the present. The protagonist decides to use this skill to prevent a crime. During her adventures, she meets colorful personalities. For example: a hitman who only kills other assassins, or a hacker who poses as a crime boss. The characters have Japanese voice acting. Their voices were provided by Yoshimasa Hosoya, KENN and other voice actors.
