Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a first-person shooter and continuation of the Call of Duty series, the events of which take place in 2016 in an alternative reality. The narrative is told from the perspective of various Western special agents who are fighting terrorist groups around the world – this is how the events of the game unfold in such locations as Russia, Brazil, Afghanistan, the USA and Kazakhstan. Each of the operatives is a trained agent with incredible experience in combat situations, who is ready to fight against multiple opponents at once and is armed with only the most modern equipment. So, in a tense narrative, the main characters will have to fight with squads of enemies who will constantly attack in whole groups.

Available as a story mode, in which, on one of the many linear levels, the operative will have to complete the tasks assigned to him and immerse himself in the rich plot of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, as well as additional modes, such as multiplayer and special operations. The latter are cooperative missions for two players, of which there are only 23: each of these tasks will be based on the terrain map of one of the story episodes, but will have new goals that must be completed by helping each other. In addition to linear levels, there is also a large variety associated with different types of transport: there will be both snowmobile and non-helicopter racing.
