Call of Juarez: Aztec Treasures is an action-adventure game set in the late 19th century. The plot centers on the tale of Juarez's gold, which was used to ransom Montezuma after he was captured by the conquistadors. Many centuries ago, precious stones and money were lost, only a few people knew where they were buried. The main character will try to get to the treasure, but competitors and enemy gangs will stand in his way.

In the action movie Call of Juarez, the user will need to take control of a young guy named Billy. The main character does not know who his father is and what his last name is. His Mexican ancestry forced him to constantly listen to ridicule and insulting words from his neighbors. He has a stepfather, Thomas, who was his daily presence, which made Billy hate him with all his might. One day, the protagonist decided to run away from home and go in search of the Juarez treasure, but two years passed without success.

The gameplay is played from the first person. Most of the passage invites the gamer to participate in shootouts, ride a horse and explore the environment. The ward can use two revolvers at the same time or sniper rifles. His special ability is to slow down time, which helps him shoot and target opponents faster. The user will take part in battles on horseback, shoot with a bow, or blow up warehouses in enemy territory.
