Canvas 2 Akane Iro no Palette will reflect the lives of students and teachers of Nadesiko Academy. The hero of the story, Kamikura Hiroki, lives peacefully with his cousin Alice and wants to become a famous artist in order to teach this craft to other people in the future. He must also help his partner with her studies, monitor and protect her. The storyline begins from the moment when the protagonist's friend Kiri is transferred to the academy. Now Kamikura will have to combine his hobbies, personal life and work, and also sort out his feelings for two girls who are important to him.

The gameplay revolves around reading text and thinking through dialogues with characters. The narration is accompanied by icons of the characters with whom the ward is talking. In some scenes, the background images and sprites change, making the animation and graphics more varied and lively. Based on the decisions made in Canvas 2 Akane Iro no Palette, different endings and additional plot branches are available.

There are a total of 7 stories available, each for one of the heroines. As you learn new details, you have to make a choice in favor of one or another character.
