IN CHRONO TRIGGER The main characters can control time and travel to the past or future at will. They are trying to save the world by preventing its destruction. Locations – cities, forests, caves, clearings, dungeons, rooms in castles. There are NPCs who give out quests and items. There are battles and logic tasks. The enemies are different – from wild predatory animals to security robots. There are bosses at the end of some levels. The battles are turn-based. The hero cannot move, attack, or defend until a certain number of seconds have passed on the timer at the top of the screen. You can only take 1 action per turn. The protagonists have 2 scales – magic and health. As a reward for victory, heroes receive experience and points to purchase new techniques; Sometimes clothes, first aid kits, weapons, and gold coins drop out.

In CHRONO TRIGGER, the story takes place in a fictional world, but it looks similar to Earth. Heroes can teleport to 7 time periods – Stone Age, Middle Ages, Our Days, Apocalypse Day, Future. The story begins in the year 1000. The main character meets a girl, Marl, and by chance they are teleported to the year 600. The local population believes that Marle is the missing Queen of the Guard.

What are the main characters:

• Chrono is a young guy living with his parents, the main protagonist;
• Lucca is the woman who invented the teleportation machine; met Chrono and Marle at the fair, mistakenly opened a time portal for them;
• Frog is a medieval knight transformed by the evil wizard Magnus into an anthropomorphic frog;
• Eila is a militant girl who is trying to save the inhabitants of her settlement from predatory dinosaurs.
