Adventure City Legends: Trapped in Mirror tells the story of how the main character tries to create his own written work and make a lot of money from it. Initially, a story about the Order of Evil Witches was released, which became a bestseller. Before making the next part, the protagonist needs to sign a contract to get good money. In order for both parties to agree, it is necessary to make a draft of the future story.

The central character goes to Pennsylvania, where he tries to find inspiration to write a story about Witches. However, all his stories become real, he encounters characters that he created himself. Now his plans change dramatically, finding himself in a parallel dimension, where ghosts and evil creatures live. He will need to find a way to stay alive, and for this he will need to remember all the features that he gave to each creature.

The gameplay will require exploring locations, interacting with the environment and solving puzzles. Sometimes the protagonist will encounter deadly opponents, each of them has their own weak points. Found items can be combined with each other, and various documentation is scattered around the area, increasing the amount of knowledge about the world for the gamer. There are many interactive things scattered throughout the game areas that help in the passage.
