Events take place in the distant future. Science has made a breakthrough; scientists have managed to invent a source of infinite energy. This led to a rift in the already existing concepts of the universe. Such a discovery made it possible to break the essence of time and space and expand the capabilities of humanity. However, this entailed some negative consequences. Viruses that previously lived only on a computer network were now able to break out into the real world and take on flesh. They pose a terrible threat to people and the user will have to go on a dangerous journey to find the source of the virus and destroy it irrevocably.

In Angel Code, the hero's arsenal is filled with all kinds of machine guns and guns. All of them are created on the basis of new technologies. Often two hands will be required to use them.
