Actions Codename: Panzers, Phase One take place during the turbulent years of World War II. The user will have to take part in three different campaigns for the USSR, the Allies and Germany, where the storyline is tied to the battles that actually took place. The player will play the role of a leading officer of one of the warring parties, who is capable of changing history through his actions. The creators of the project made sure that you could take part in bloody battles throughout Europe: in Poland, the Balkans, France, Berlin, near Moscow, as well as in French Normandy.

The gameplay of Codename: Panzers, Phase One allows you to fully demonstrate your tactical and strategic skills, through which the player will control a group of different troops placed at his disposal. They are formed by military armored vehicles, infantry, as well as air support, which can be called by radio. Before the start of all missions, it is possible to change the composition of the squad, which will be formed based on the urgent needs and preferences of the user, and as the gameplay progresses, the personal history of all 4 main protagonists will develop, whose names are Hans von Grebel, Sasha Vladimirov, James Barnes and Jeffrey Wilson.

Players will also be pleased with the wide variety of combat vehicles that are presented here to solve the assigned tasks. These are the main models of Soviet tanks, American Shermans and Pershings, fascist Tigers of various configurations, as well as authentic anti-aircraft guns, guns, airplanes and vehicles for transporting passengers and soldiers. Ammunition has its limit only for vehicles, which, in addition, sometimes require repairs, and soldiers can shoot endlessly.
