COG Back To The 80s gameplay begins with an introduction to the MET team. The group has received a new mission, during which they will need to find the most wanted terrorist in the world. At the height of the Cold War, the central character will choose a side in the conflict and learn about many secrets related to recent world events. The artificial intelligence that controls your opponents takes action in a dynamic way when fighting the main character.

From one level to another, the gamer's weapons will constantly change. It is necessary to destroy enemies with the capabilities that the ward has. The arsenal includes several types of weapons like pistols, knives, AK-47 and M4A1.
