Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts – an independent addition to Company of Heroes, allowing you to play for the British Army and the Tank Guard during the Great Patriotic War. The first campaign tells the story of the defense and liberation of Caen. Major Blackmore was appointed commander of the operation. Players will be able to take part in the battles for France in 1944. Missions for the German Armored Elite begin with the largest air offensive. British troops will descend by parachute, trying to neutralize as many German soldiers as possible.

For the game CoH: OF, unique maps were created that fully correspond to historical data. Several tasks can take place in the same locations. The equipment is detailed, with the characteristics of actually existing wartime vehicles. The dynamic change of weather, day and night, allows you to hear voice-over remarks from officers. The special effects of lightning strikes have been worked out. Neutral buildings can be captured, used as a headquarters, or destroyed.

Factions have original tactics that allow them to quickly influence the battlefield. The German Guard uses Luftwaffe, scorched earth and anti-tank tactics. Developed for the 2nd British Army were the Corps of Engineers, Royal Commandos and Artillery. During the completion of tasks, purchases and upgrades of equipment are available, among which you can see tanks: “Churchill”, “Panther”, “Tetrarch” or self-propelled guns and howitzers. In multiplayer mode, new sides to the conflict appear and the ability to choose and customize the map.
