Conflict: Desert Storm 2 Back to Baghdad is dedicated to the struggle of NATO soldiers against terrorists in the Persian Gulf. As before, you have a choice of 2 different squads to control: the British SAS or the American Delta Force. However, the choice does not particularly affect the passage. Both special forces serve 10 missions spanning Iraq, Baghdad and Kuwait. First, the military rescues their colleagues, then performs several combat missions, and ultimately saves the whole world from the threat of chemical superweapons.

In terms of gameplay, Conflict: Desert Storm 2: Return to Baghdad hardly departs from the canons of the original. The adventure begins with one soldier – the commander of the future detachment. He rescues his partners from captivity and forms a battle group with them. Each member specializes in a specific role. For example, a heavy weapons master is better at using machine guns and rocket launchers than others, while a sniper is better at using long-range rifles. You can control only one fighter at a time, but you can freely switch between the others and give them commands.

The main changes, in addition to graphical ones, are visible in the composition of the single-player campaign. Now more unusual situations happen in missions. So the heroes have to look for anti-tank guns on the map every now and then. In addition, they are ambushed and then forced to escape from prison. And in one of the final battles, you shouldn’t hit tanks with chemical weapons with shots at all, because because of the leak, everyone around is guaranteed to die.
