Corsairs – City of Lost Ships sends users to the mid-17th century, where the player, controlling a character, will begin his journey as a pirate, gradually joining the ranks of these people. In addition to the two main characters migrated from previous parts, the project introduces users to Peter Blood. He is an Irish doctor who, after treating a patient on an English estate, ends up in the Caribbean. There, the frigate is captured, after which the active development of the gameplay begins. In this part, innovations included previously unappeared locations – the city of lost ships, as well as Tenochtitlan – the golden capital of the Aztecs.

Age of Pirates 2: City of Abandoned Ships is built on a quest system. Moving through locations (cities, island settlements and other places), the hero can interact with third-party units. By communicating and using different variations of response lines, you can obtain various information, as well as tasks of varying degrees of complexity. For successful completion, an appropriate monetary reward is awarded, which in turn can be spent by buying better weapons or improvements for the ship from merchants. As for the battles, they have now become more interesting due to the improved model of enemy behavior. In a collision on the water, they will maneuver and avoid direct hits under fire. When it comes to fighting on land using blades, their attacks will become more varied, and the variety of techniques can take you by surprise. By accumulating funds, you can purchase new ships.
