Actions in Crystal Core take place in the open world. It consists of many locations. The user is waiting for complete freedom of action. Developers provide the opportunity to pass a whole storyline by type of quest. In addition, there will be additional tasks. Events begin with the fact that the main character, waking up early in the morning, hastily gathers to work. There is no further explanation of what is happening, so the player himself must find out everything. The scenery looks angular and slightly broken, some of them resemble a mountain of cardboard boxes. There will be no sound accompaniment, all dialogs and replicas will be represented only in text form.

The main task in Crystal Core will be the study of the territory. The character will run a lot, looking at all the foundings found. Also, various opponents will arise on the way. Why they attack and try to destroy the player is unknown. However, they should stay away from them. Homemade onions are used as a weapon. Periodically, bosses will appear among enemies. They are much stronger than their predecessors. Such meetings occur suddenly, which only complicates the task. Studying the territory, the protagonist will find several exclamation marks. They indicate an active area where there are unfulfilled missions.
