CSI: Fatal Conspiracy is the ninth part of the series. All games in this franchise are based on the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The events shown in this video game take place during the 10th season of the show. The user is assigned the role of a detective. He is helped by characters from the TV show: Greg Sanders, Sarah Sidle, Nick Stokes, Raymond Langston, Catherine Willows. Partners and partners change as you progress. The title is a quest with a first-person view. The user is asked to collect evidence, study fingerprints, conduct DNA tests, interrogate suspects, and so on. The gameplay, based on pixel hunting, is periodically diluted with mini-games.

In CSI: Fatal Conspiracy, the story campaign is divided into 5 cases (chapters):

• Baked Flash – In the ruins of a burnt-out building, cops find the body of spa manager Portia Weissmann and suspect two people in what happened: her former lover Brian Reed and a boss named Pedro Baxa;
• Proof of Landing – Depressed construction worker Mark Ensign is found dead on the job, but police doubt it was a suicide;
• Saved is the twisted story of burn victim Mary Marst, who is subsequently murdered in a very strange manner;
• Everything has been washed – the body of Jessica Marnier was found inside a car that was in a car wash, and 3 guys are suspected of the crime;
• The boss fight is an investigation into three murders that involve some of the people from previous acts, as well as one of the agents.
