Cursed Crew plunges you into the difficult task of managing a crew of cursed sailors aboard a 17th century ship. The captain's role goes beyond simple sailing: he must give orders, manage unforeseen events and fight opponents in a dangerous fantasy world. The game is made in the roguelike genre, so each completed stage is a separate experience, and the possible outcome is an irrevocable loss. The gameplay is based on finding a balance between the well-being of the crew, its morale, the ship's performance and available resources. In addition, players can influence the course of the narrative by filling in gaps in the storyline.

Combat becomes multi-faceted, offering opportunities for both long-range and close combat. The choice is yours: shoot at enemy ships with cannons or engage in head-on combat using swords and firearms.
